WHY YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN: LEGO® Star Wars: TCS
The Complete Saga, Brick by Brick
LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga packs all six original films into one mobile package — from the Trade Federation blockade to the Battle of Endor — reimagined through the silent-comedy lens of LEGO animation. Iconic scenes play out with slapstick timing, and every lightsaber duel doubles as a destructible environment puzzle.
Two Trilogies, One Massive Roster
Over 160 playable characters span prequel, original trilogy, and bonus categories — Jedi, Sith, bounty hunters, droids, Gungans, and obscure background aliens each with unique animations and abilities. Switching between a protocol droid to unlock a door, a Jedi to Force-lift a platform, and a bounty hunter to detonate a silver barrier is the game's core puzzle language.
Co-op That Spans Generations
Drop-in local co-op lets a parent and child tackle the galaxy together, with the second player able to jump in and out without penalty. The forgiving death system (lose studs, respawn instantly) removes friction for younger players, while the collectible density gives adult completionists a monstrous checklist of minikits, red bricks, and gold bricks.
Studs, Bricks, and Endless Collectibles
The signature LEGO game economy — collect studs as currency, find minikits (10 per level), hunt for red bricks (cheat modifiers), and accumulate gold bricks through exploration and challenge completion — creates a completionist loop that extends a 20-hour story campaign into an 80-hour collect-a-thon.
YOUR CRASH COURSE
Play Through All Six Episodes
Levels follow the chronological film order: Phantom Menace through Return of the Jedi. Each film gets six story levels that hit the major set pieces — podracing, the Death Star trench run, the Hoth battle, the Emperor's throne room — condensed into bite-sized LEGO action platforming segments.
Fight, Build, and Force-Puzzle Your Way Through
Combat is light and accessible (one attack button, no death penalty), but the environmental puzzle structure requires swapping between character types. Dark Force users interact with red-marked objects, astromech droids activate blue panels, high-jump characters reach elevated platforms, and small characters crawl through hatches.
Explore the Mos Eisley Cantina Hub
The central hub between missions is the Mos Eisley Cantina, packed with hidden areas, character-buy stations, and bonus-level entry points. The cantina itself is a puzzle box — secret rooms, character-specific doors, and easter eggs reward exploration between story chapters.
Collect Minikits, Red Bricks, and Gold Bricks
Every level hides ten minikits in off-path locations requiring specific character abilities. Red bricks (stud multipliers, invincibility, silly visual filters) are hidden throughout the cantina hub and levels. Gold bricks are awarded for level completion, minikit collection, and hub-world challenges — collecting all of them is the game's ultimate flex.
Unlock the Full Character Grid
Start with story-required characters, then spend studs at the cantina to unlock everyone else — including joke characters (Beach Trooper, Disguised Leia), creature characters (Wampa, Rancor), and vehicle-adjacent characters that change gameplay entirely. The final unlockable (custom character builder) requires near-total completion.
